About Us

Hello! I'm DeLisa Shaw, a Certified Play-Based Reading Coach and founder of Bee STEAM Fit, where energy meets purpose through movement, STEAM, and character building.

For more than a decade, I’ve worked with children and families to make learning fun, meaningful, and full of confidence-building moments. My journey began with a passion for helping kids learn through hands-on play and it has grown into a mission to help every child discover the joy of learning, reading, and creating.

Over the years, I’ve seen what happens when children are given the right mix of movement, creativity, and encouragement their confidence blooms, their focus strengthens, and their love for learning takes off. Watching a child’s eyes light up when they read a word on their own or finish building something amazing reminds me every day why I do this work.

At Bee STEAM Fit, I help kids learn to read, move, build, and grow through activities that engage their minds and bodies. Whether we’re coding a mini-game, racing through a fitness challenge, or celebrating a new reading milestone, every class is designed to nurture growth, confidence, and joy.
